Applications are invited for a fixed-term one-year lectureship from 1 
October 2006 made available by the research leave of Dr Simon Stoddart and 
funded by the Leverhulme Trust. The successful applicant will have teaching 
and research interests in Later European Prehistory, and will be expected to 
hold a PhD at the time of appointment. This temporary vacancy to provide 
replacement cover would therefore suit someone at an early stage in their 
career looking to develop their teaching and research experience. The full 
salary scale is £25,565 - £39,452 and will be pensionable (USS).
