The Ohio State University seeks an archaeologist for a tenure-track position
at the Assistant Professor level beginning academic year, 2007-2008.
Candidates should have a specialization in the use of archaeological spatial
analysis to investigate past human adaptations. Expertise in GIS, remote
sensing/geophysics, and/or quantitative analysis is desirable. Geographic
area open. Teaching and research interests should be compatible with the
departmentâ??s focus on evolutionary anthropology, human ecological
adaptations, and quantitative approaches in anthropology. Ph.D. required.
Evidence of productivity and excellence in research and teaching required.
