The Instituto Terra e Memória (ITM)  and The Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, Portugal

Presentations from researchers, scholars and technologists working across diverse disciplines, sites and practices will focus on the ancient use of sound in sacred and contemplative spaces.   The multi-disciplinary aspect is expected to help highly specialized experts to understand complicated principles of other fields such as archaeology, physics, neuroscience, architectural engineering, in order to create a holistic platform for interpretation.

The non-profit conference welcomes academics, independent researchers, musicologists and non-presenting enthusiasts.  An optional accommodation and pre-conference excursion package will be organized and offered to registered participants.
