Rome ? The Imperial Fora: New Online Digital Image Catalogue.
Excavations
& Discoveries (1995-2007).
This is a new tentative online digital
images catalogue of the past
and more recent excavations & discoveries
of the Imperial Fora of
Rome (1995-2007). While the catalogue is still under
development
below are the newest sets of digital images available online
(correct
captions and the dates of the some of the digital images still need
to be added.
I will be adding shortly digital images of the Forum of
Trajan
(excavations 1998 to 2007); the Forum of Caesar, Nerva and the Temple
of Peace (excavations and restoration work 1998 to 2007).
When
completed the Imperial Fora digital images catalogue will also
included
brief summary reports of the excavations & discoveries for
each
individual forums; Digital images of the more important Italian
newspapers
articles relating to a particular excavations or
discovery; and URL links to
additional information resources.
