Dear All,

Another plea for information so I am hoping you can help.

As you know I am writing a book on the bioarchaeology of leprosy. I am
currently dealing with the Old World skeletal evidence, and especially that
from the UK (and southern Ireland).

In 2002 I published in British Archaeological Reports 1054 a survey of extant
skeletal evidence around that time, published and unpublished. While I have
kept up with the published literature since then on any new leprosy individuals
excavated from sites, I do not necessarily have knowledge of unpublished
evidence/that in the grey literature.

As there are so many BABAO members who work in contract archaeology now, there
may be people out there who know of new evidence (since 1999). If you would be
happy sharing that with me (with acknowledgement in the book), I would be very
grateful. I want to provide as complete a picture as possible in the book.

Of course, with reference to the rest of the world, if anybody works in areas
other than here and again knows of new evidence that has not been published/is
in the grey literature, then please, if you are willing to divulge the
information, let me know.
