Dear all

I am currently compiling a (rather ambitious!) database on cases of non-adult pathology from the published and grey literature for a book I am writing. I know there are many really interesting cases of pathology in child skeletons that for various reasons never get published or are lost in the archives. I would be very grateful for details, and images, of any cases of known (e.g. scurvy, TB, leprosy, congenital etc.) or unknown pathologies that you may have noted in skeletons under the age of 17 years, from any location and period. I cannot record all cases of enamel hypoplasias or cribra for instance, but even minor changes such as fused vertebrae or atrophied arms are important for raising awareness about child palaeopathology. Your contributions and reports will of course be fully acknowledged.

Very many thanks

Mary
