WAC-7 : Seventh World Archaeological Congress Dead Sea – Jordan, January 14-18, 2013
We would like to invite you to join us at WAC-7 in Jordan. WAC Congresses are unique events that occur every four years. Jordan is a stunning country. Its cultural heritage includes five sites on the World Heritage list, and another fifteen nominations. The Congress in Jordan will be a once in a lifetime experience.
We would like to notify you that the acceptance of proposals for themes for WAC-7 in Jordan will close on April 30th, 2012. The deadline for proposals for sessions is July 30th, 2012, while that for the proposal of papers and posters is September 30th, 2012. If you would like to submit a proposal for a theme, session or paper, this can be done on the WAC-7 website: Applications for travel grants are now open to students, Indigenous groups and people from countries with low incomes. We are calling for the submission of proposals for papers and sessions. The deadline for proposals for sessions is September 30th, 2012, while that for the proposal of individual contributions is October 31st, 2012.If you would like to submit a proposal, please visit the WAC-7 Conftool Conference Administration website. How To Submit A Session To WAC-7The WAC-7 Program Committee is excited to see such interesting session proposals being discussed on the listserv. We would like to remind everyone that in order to submit a session proposal for WAC-7, session organizers will need to use the Conftool Conference management website. Organizers will be asked to create an account and then provide the following information regarding their session proposal: - author names, email addresses and affiliation
- session title and 150-200 word abstract
- potential WAC-7 theme that the session will fall under
- type of session (i.e. symposia, workshop, debate, etc.)
- keywords
