“Bem-vindos à terceira edição do Encontro Internacional de Jovens Investigadores em História Moderna. Este encontro, destinado tal como o nome indica a jovens investigadores, teve a honra de ser representado na sua primeira edição na cidade de Lisboa, nas instalações do ISCTE no ano de 2009, organizado por membros do Centro de Estudos de História Contemporânea. A segunda edição decorreu em 2011 na cidade de Braga, organizado por membros do Departamento de História e do Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade do Minho, nas instalações do Museu D. Diogo de Sousa.

Esta edição, na histórica cidade de Évora, conta com a organização de membros do Centro Interdisciplinar de História, Culturas e Sociedades da Universidade de Évora (CIDEHUS), do Centro de História da Arte e Investigação Científica (CHAIA) e do Centro de Estudos de História e Filosofia da Ciência nasceu do Núcleo de Estudos de História e Filosofia da Ciência (CEHFCi) também da Universidade de Évora.

Esperamos por vós, decerto será um encontro com participações de elevada qualidade e uma oportunidade única de estar entre os pares, partilhar experiências, conhecimentos e pontos de vista. Desde já o nosso muito obrigado e um até breve.”

“Welcome to the third edition of the International Meeting of Young Researchers in Early Modern History. This meeting, as the name indicates, is destined to young researchers and had the honour of being represented in its first edition in Lisbon, at ISCTE's premises in 2009, organized by members of the Center for Studies of Contemporary History. The second edition was held in 2011 in the city of Braga, organized by members of the Department of History and the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho, in the premises of the Museum D. Diogo de Sousa.

This edition, in the historic city of Évora, the organization counts with members from the Interdisciplinary Centre for History, Cultures and Societies at the University of Évora (CIDEHUS), the Center for Art History and Scientific Research (CHAIA) and the Center for the Study of History and Philosophy of Science was born of the Center for the Study of History and Philosophy of Science (CEHFCi) also at the University of Évora.
