World Legend (Leiria e Nascimento since 1882) presents an auction of Archaeology and Ancient Art with pieces from prehistoric periods ? tools, fossils and minerals ? ancient and medieval works, together with 17th and 18th century pieces. 
We are therefore faced with a groundbreaking event in the context of the Portuguese auctions market, fully dedicated to a theme that grants the interest of so many to the Ancient World.
Objects found in archaeological context, mostly in the Iberian Peninsula, belonging to private collections until now ? real curiosity cabinets ? of collectors and scholars.
In this sale, comprising some architectural sculptures of rare beauty, or two cinerary urns of exceptional dimensions, we also offer a magnificent ivory rhyton, dating from the Hellenistic period. Found in Old Nisa, Turkmenistan, and is comparable to the Hermitage masterpiece, or to other in the Turkmenistan National Museum, from the same ancient city.
