https://community.topoi.org/web/uav-2014/call-for-papersThe ArchaeoLandscapes Europe Project (ArcLand) and the Berlin Free University Excellence Cluster Topoi are organising a symposium on the use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for archaeology and cultural heritage in the Topoi house Dahlem in Berlin from 23 – 24 May 2014.
Presentations and posters will highlight case studies of data acquisition and data processing with multicopters, kites etc., discussing also the pros and cons of these devices and the techniques that have been used.
Please send a short summary (200 – 500 words) of your poster or presentation until
31 March 2014 (final deadline!) to Axel G. Posluschny (

undine.lieberwirth@topoi.org) (attachments in doc, docx odt or pdf format).
Notification of acceptance or rejection of the proposal will be send by 7 April 2014 the latest.
Of course you can also attend without giving a presentation. As the space is restricted please make sure to register via email or via formular to the aforementioned addresses until 10 April 2014.
There will be no conference fees for this event...........
