Hello Everyone,
This may be of interest to you and your colleagues. Over at Luton Museum we are teaching a number of practical osteology short courses, which are taught at Wardown Park Museum, Luton. We are able to offer specimens from a variety of different periods and in varying conditions, which demonstrate how human remains are discovered in the field, rather than just relying on our reference collections.
We aim to provide participants with an overview of human osteology and teach the skills necessary for proper identification and curation of human remains. The focus is on the practical skills needed and is ideal for those wanting to work out in the field.
