A new partnership with the Swiss Museums
Association
During the EMF Annual Assembly in
Tongeren in May, we were delighted to formalise our partnership with
the Swiss Museums Association. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed
by EMF and the Swiss Museums Association to enhance links between
the two organisations and encourage dialogue with museums and Switzerland
and further the mission of EMF to foster excellence and innovation in
public quality. Dr Gianna A Mina, President of the Swiss Museum
Association said: "The signing of this memorandum is a symbolic act of a
common vision of museums as instruments for broad dialogue with many
communities and providing a wide scope to actively take part in
developing these museums. Excellence, openness and innovation underline
these democratic processes." We look
forward to working more closely with our colleagues in Switzerland.
For more information about partnerships with EMF, please write to EMF
Chair Goranka Horjan at emf@liverpoolmuseums.org.uk
