We wish you a nice day from Turkey.

 

Aiema-Turkey would like to prepare the new issue of Journal of Mosaic Research in 2020 for tributing to Professor Jean Pierre Darmon due to his very valuable contributions to ancient mosaic art researches.

 

Professor Jean Pierre Darmon is a French scholar who is well known for his contribution to the ancient mosaic studies. He has researched mosaics in a very large geographical area from Gaulles to Anatolia.

Recently he has published ''La mosaïque dans les Gaules romaines'' with Catherine Balmelle. Also, ''Mythes et images en mosaïque antique - Scripta (nusi) varia'' was published in tribute to his researches between 1963-2013. The research represents his deep knowledge on mosaics of both east and west. His research in mosaics of Zeugma is also one of his important contributions to the ancient mosaic studies.

 

We would like to call for papers and prepare this special volume which is 13th volume of Journal of Mosaic Research, November 2020. If you would like to contribute with your papers to this special volume, please kindly send the title and abstract of your manuscript with your contact details until 01 July 2019, if possible. Applications will be evaluated by the editors of the journal as the capacity is limited.
