1. O Património é o logaritmo da Relevância. E o Museu o logaritmo do Património.

DEFINITION OF «MUSEUM»

1. Heritage is the logarithm of Relevance. And the Museum the logarithm of heritage.

1.1. A 'MUSEUM' (X) is  the  logarithm  of HERITAGE (Y) (heritage, understood as 'the relevance to preserve and transmit to the hereto come') whose basis (B) is: [Study and Research; Conservation and Documentation/Coding; Dissemination and Awareness; Education and Accessibility; Cultural Valorization]. X turns B into Y. That is, X = Log b(Y).

1.2. In the «NEXT MUSEUM» is R (Robotic Engineer, Robotic Controller, Research Develop, Code Tec, Build Control, Create-Edit, Present-Share) which makes (executes, calculates) B. The «NEXT MUSEUM» may become a robot.

1.3. What now implies the Heritage (LogX(museums). Y (libraries). W(archives). N(others) be the logarithm of Relevance (B). That is, Log B (xywn) = Log B(x) +  Log B(y)  +  Log B(w)  +  Log B(n), provided that  B,  X,  Y, W and N are «Objects», and  B is a «reality  informationally accessible to receivers».

1.4. The consequence of which is to allow scientific and technical convergence between museums, collections, monuments, sites, archives, libraries, documentation and interpretation centers, and all other heritage infrastructures.

2. A Museum is not «where the Objects are», but «what goes to the Objects, wherever they are». The «MUSEUM» is a relationship, it is not a building. The «MUSEUM» is what allows establishing a Relationship (informational, communicative, sensory and educational) between, and with, the Objects. In this way, the «team of the MUSEUM» will go wherever the Objects that People wish to be Heritage.

3. A MUSEUM is a specific use given to objects/things (buildings, collections, heritage), are not themselves. The MUSEUM is an event that occurs, or not. The MUSEUM extends the strategy of Eucaryote Life, which is expressed, and is guided, by criteria codified a priori in human cognition that I designated in 2010 as "structure of Relevance".

4. HERITAGE (any objects/things/images/documents that are, and any of which societies are used in all historical times) is always just an example of that Relevance. Subject to the behavior (act) that we designate (here, in this definition) by MUSEUM.
