EU/MEeting 2009 has been extended to March 20, 2009.

The next EU/ME workshop (EU/MEeting 2009) will be held in Porto, 
Portugal, the 29th and 30th of April 2009.
As in past meetings, the objective of this workshop is to give 
researchers and practitioners the opportunity to discuss recent advances 
in metaheuristics and debate perspectives for future applications.  
Contributions on any
topic in metaheuristics are welcomed.

No registration fees will be charged to attendees. Nevertheless, 
registration is required.

The registration and submission of abstracts processes are now open.  
Extended abstracts should be written in English and have a maximum 
length of
6 pages. Please use the LaTeX template  
<http://www.dcc.fc.up.pt/eume2009/EUME2009Template.zip> provided in the 
workshop webpage to prepare your
abstract.

Papers will be peer-reviewed. The acceptance of the contributions will 
be based on the originality of the work and on its overall quality.

publish a special issue devoted to selected papers presented at
*EU/MEting 2009*.
