Final call for papers
For the 11th Annual ENBIS Conference
University of Coimbra, Portugal
September 4-8, 2011
The 11th annual meeting of ENBIS will take place at the University of Coimbra and aims to bring together all professionals who are involved in business and industrial statistics. The conference offers plenty of opportunities to share ideas and learn about current best practices.
With this final call for papers, we would like to invite you to contribute to the success of the conference by giving a presentation or through your active participation.
ENBIS invites presentations from a wide range of applications: industry, manufacturing, administration, marketing, sales, risk management, logistics and service, among others. Contributions can consist of review papers, presenting state of the art advances in scientific research, overview and introductory papers, presenting an area of expertise to the uninitiated, and best practice communications, sharing experiences of practitioners. People from industry and business are invited to present their problems and current solutions.
The session topics include but are not limited to the special areas of interest that exist in ENBIS and are listed below.

• Measurement uncertainty and measurement system analysis

• Reliability and safety
• Statistics in the pharmaceutical industry

• Quality improvement and Six Sigma
• Consulting and teaching
Participants are invited to submit an abstract (maximum 250 words) before May 31, 2011. Acceptance of submissions will be notified no later than June 13, 2011.
