As you may know, Xpress is one of the leading commercial mathematical programming systems and is now part of FICO. There are five mathematical programmers on the Xpress optimizer team which we are intending to strengthen with a further appointment, possibly at the senior level. The field is developing fast and there are exciting new areas of enquiry, investigation, innovation and implementation opening up.
