In continuation with the success of International Conference on Data Envelopment Analysis and Its Applications to Management (ICDEAMA 2011), CENTRUM Católica Graduate School of Business, Pontificia Católica Universidad del Peru (PCUP) is pleased to announce the International conference on Business Performance Measurement and Management (ICBPMM) to be held from 11 to 13 of September 2012 at CENTRUM Católica, Lima, Perú. A set of selected papers will be reviewed for publication in JCC: The Business and Economics Research Journal or International Journal of Business Performance Management (IJBPM) or in the International Conference Proceedings.
Aim:
The aim of the conference is to bring together academicians and experienced practitioners working and interested in research and practice of performance measurement and management to discuss their experiences in bridging the gap between theory and practice. The international dimension is emphasized in order to overcome cultural and national barriers and to meet the needs of accelerating technological change and changes in the global economy. The ICBPMM aims to provide an interactive and global discussion forum for young researchers, academics, professionals and practitioners from various countries to interact and discuss the issues dealing with any aspect of business performance/measurement in various sectors including agriculture, banking, benchmarking, education, environment, economy, government, health, insurance, information technology, marketing, operations, public policy, human resources, manufacturing, retails, regulation, services, tourism and others. Applied as well
as theo
retical research on computational aspects and the development of performance measurement tools to address challenging and emerging policy or management problems will be encouraged.
Review Process:
The double-blind review process will support the selection process of research papers for their presentation in the conference and publication in International Proceedings and/or JCC: The Business and Economics Research Journal. Technical keynote speakers will be selected from early submissions as it requires an additional evaluation according to the quality of the paper, assessed by its reviewers, the authors' CV and the research topic.
