Gostaria de vos convidar a participar/divulgar na/a PhD workshop que estou a organizar para o dia 3 de Junho de 2014, no IST.
O tema é “PhD Workshop in Logistics - Exchange of experiences between Portugal & Germany” e o conceito passa por ter um convidado da TU Dortmund (investigador e aluno de PhD) – Johannes Dregger, que trabalha na área da Logística, onde poderão ser discutidos os conteúdos de investigação e também potenciais colaborações.
Em anexo ou em www.apdio.pt podem encontrar informação sobre o convidado, o programa e formato da workshop, contactos e datas. Também incluí uma short bio do convidado.
O vosso papel passa por divulgarem por alunos de doutoramento (preferencialmente), mestrado ou Post Docs que queiram participar no workshop. Há dois formatos de participação: orador ou espectador.
Além da apresentação do convidado, há espaço para mais 6 oradores (10-12 min) apresentarem o seu trabalho de investigação na área da Logística ou tópicos relacionados. Devem enviar propostas (nome, afiliação, título e abstract até 100 palavras) até dia 29 de Maio para susana.relvas@tecnico.ulisboa.pt. O programa completo será divulgado dia 30 de Maio. Observadores devem registar-se pelo mesmo e-mail.
Prevê-se uma aceitação até cerca 20 participantes (oradores+espectadores), com participação gratuita.

I would like to invite you to participate/disseminate in the/the PhD workshop being prepared for the 3rd of June of 2014 at IST Lisbon.
The topic is “PhD Workshop in Logistics - Exchange of experiences between Portugal & Germany” where we will have a guest lecturer from TU Dortmund (researcher and PhD student) – Johannes Dregger, working in Logistics and where either research contents or potential collaborations may be discussed.
In attachment or in www.apdio.pt please find information about the guest lecturer, the tentative program, contacts and important dates. It is also included a short bio of the guest lecturer.
Your role concerns the dissemination of the workshop through PhD students (preferably), MsCs or Post Docs who might wish participate in the workshop. Two possible participation roles are possible: presenter or observer. Besides the guest lecturer presentation, we have room for up to 6 presenters (10-12 min) to summarize their research work in the field of Logistics and related topics. Presentation proposals (name, affiliation, title and abstact up to 100 words) must be sent up to the 29th of May to susana.relvas@tecnico.ulisboa.pt. The final program will be released on the 30th of May. Observers must also register through the same e-mail.
We foresee to accept up to 20 participants (presenters+observers), free of participation fees.
