CALL FOR PAPERS: International Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Workshop
We are pleased to announce that the University of Sonora and the International Data Envelopment Analysis Society (iDEAs) will hold the 2014 International DEA Workshop at Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, from September the 17th to 19th. The conference will be held at the campus of the University of Sonora in Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora. The campus is located at the city downtown.
The workshop will focus in applications of DEA models to sustainable development, economic and trade policy,efficiency in service industries and industrial engineering.
The workshop´s purpose is to discuss recent developments in the methodology of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), its various applications, and results of empirical evaluations using DEA, as well as to help network interested participants from academia and practice to collaborate in projects related to broader problems faced by modern society.
DEA 2014 workshop plans to bring together scholars, researchers and practitioners interested in the development of DEA and its applications to performance management in public and private sectors. Theoretical and empirical papers on DEA and other related fields such as econometric and optimization methods for efficiency and productivity analysis are solicited for presentation at the conference.
