The MCDA/M Summer School is one of the most important events of the educational point of view in the field of Operational Research, destined to Ph.D. students. This school is a two-week event that held every three years, and its next edition will take place in Recife-Brazil, from July 18th - 29th / 2016. Distinguished professors who have already confirmed their participation are:

• Interactive Methods of MultiobjectiveOptimization (IMMO); 

• Multiobjective Combinatorial Optimization (MOCO); 

• Evolutionary Multiobjective Optimization (EMO); 

• Decision Deck; 

• Scientific writing and publication strategy; 

• MCDM community and History.

 

The aim of this School is to give to the students a state-of-the-art presentation of multiple criteria methods, applications and software and to stimulate a networking of young researchers in MCDA/M.

 

Applications are open until December 18th, 2015 (http://cdsid.org.br/mc-summer-school2016/application/) and the number of participants are limited to 50.

 

For the application submission is required to send  by email to mc-ss2016@cdsid.org a detailed curriculum, an abstract describing the Ph.D. project, a letter from supervisor specifying in clear terms the motivations to attend the Summer School and the application form, available on the homepage.
