[APDIO] Upcoming event: 5th Student Conference on Operational Research (SCOR 2016)

Dear Sir or Madame,

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the PhD Student Conference on Operational Research (SCOR 2016), now back for its fifth instalment, which will take place once again, at the beautiful University of Nottingham campus the 8-10 of April 2016.

PhD students from all European Universities studying Operational Research, Management Science or a related field are kindly invited to submit an abstract for presentation at the conference.

We ask you to consider encouraging your students to attend and present at SCOR 2016. It is a great opportunity for them to practice presenting in a relaxed environment, receive constructive feedback on their work, and meet people with similar interests. Students also have the opportunity to submit a paper to be peer-reviewed where this year for the first time the proceedings will be published electronically through an Open Access site.

Plenary talks will be given by various OR professionals undertaking a wide range of exciting careers. This will give students an opportunity to consider the many career paths available to them after completing their doctorate.

Registration cost includes accommodation, a full social program and full catering. We have strived to keep costs to a minimum in order to maximise attendance.

Please note that abstract submission is now open and the deadline is Friday, 19th February 2016. Papers (up to 10 pages) can be submitted until Friday, 25th March 2016.
