The special issue for the 28^th European Conference on Operational Research (EURO) 2016 held in Poznan, Poland, is aiming at collecting high quality papers on “Optimization in Logistics and Scheduling Applications”.  Researchers and practitioners that develop and use optimization methods in the area of logistics and scheduling applications are invited to submit their work to be published in this special issue.

 

We encourage contributions and novel applications in the following domains:

We invite researchers and practitioners to submit their work to this special issue as an opportunity for publishing in a high quality journal.

JIMO

Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization (JIMO) is an international journal devoted to publishing peer-reviewed, high quality, original papers on the non-trivial interplay between numerical optimization methods and practically significant problems in industry or management so as to achieve superior design, planning and/or operation. Its objective is to promote collaboration between optimization specialists, industrial practitioners and management scientists so that important practical industrial and management problems can be addressed by the use of appropriate, recent advanced optimization techniques.

JIMO is covered in Science Citation Index Expanded, CompuMath Citation Index, Current Contents/Engineering, Computing and Technology ISI Alerting Services.

Submissions

Please submit your full papers for JIMO special issue through the online editorial system with a note indicating that the submission is for the EURO 2016 special issue. A guide for authors is also available through this link.

Deadline for special issue submissions is November 1, 2016 December 31, 2016. The target date for publication is September 2017.
