Dear colleague,

Next year, we organise in Berlin, the 9th IFAC Triannual Conference on Manufacturing Modeling, Management and Control (MIM 2019), 28 - 30 August 2019. Usually at this conference there are about 500 to 600 attendees.

The conference is co-sponsored by IFIP, IISE, GOR, IFORS, and INFORMS, and focused on modelling and optimisation for management and control of production systems and logistics. The proceedings will be published by Elsevier and indexed in Science direct, Scopus and Web of Science.

IFAC journals and several other journals in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research and Management Science will select papers for post-conference publications.

In particular, the International Journal of Production Research (Taylor & Francis) supports strongly the conference and so will select a large number of papers for publication of their extended versions after the conference.

The web site is:

https://blog.hwr-berlin.de/mim2019/

We invite you to organise Invited sessions and/or Tracks at MIM 2019. Please submit your proposal of special sessions/Track via the submission site.

The Invited Session and Track submission deadline is  31 October 2018.

The deadline for paper submissions is December 15, 2018.

See you next year in Berlin at MIM 2019.

Best regards,

Alexandre Dolgui, IPC chair

Dmitry Ivanov, General conference chair
