Dear Colleague,

The ODS 2019 Program Committee is very glad to announce the first call for paper of ODS 2019 Conference.

ODS 2019, the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science will be held in Genova, Italy, on September 4-7, 2019.

ODS 2019 is organized by AIRO, Italian Operations Research Society, DIEC (Department of Economics and Business Studies), DIBRIS (Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics, and Systems Engineering) and DIMA (Departments of Mathematics) of the University of Genoa.

The conference venue is at DIEC, which is located in downtown Genova, close to the historic centre and port, at walking distance from the railway station.

 

ODS 2019 aims at being an opportunity for researchers and practitioners from various sectors (applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics), private and public companies, industries and policy makers, to present and share ideas, experiences and knowledge, as well as to creating a point of contact among them.

The theme of the conference is open in the wide field of optimization, problem solving and decision making methods, and their application in industrial and territorial systems. However, a special focus is on Optimization and Decision Science for Logistics and Multimodal Transportation.

All researchers, academics, practitioners and students working on the conference themes are invited to participate to ODS 2019 submitting a short paper or an abstract, and organizing sessions.
