Dear Colleague,

The Program Committee of the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Sciences 2020 is very glad to announce the first Call for Papers.

 

The ODS 2020, the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science will be held in Rome, Italy, on September 8-11, 2020.

 

ODS 2020 is organized by AIRO, the Italian Operations Research Society and the Department of Statistical Sciences Sapienza - University of Rome. The conference venue is at the Sapienza University Campus close to the city center and the Termini railway station.

 

ODS 2020 aims at being a unique opportunity for researchers, and practitioners focused on today’s problems of knowledge, growth, sustainability and operational excellence from various sectors (quantitative management, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, and finance, medicine), private and public companies, industries and policymakers, to present and share ideas, experiences and knowledge, as well as to enforce or creating a new cooperation network.

 

The conference theme is open in the wide field of analytics, optimization, problem-solving, and decision-making methods and their application in Production, Service, Knowledge, and IT Systems. However, a special focus is on Optimization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The topics that may be addressed by the works submitted to the conference are reported below, the list is not exhaustive, and authors should not feel limited.

 

All researchers, academics, practitioners, and students working on the conference themes are invited to participate to ODS 2020 submitting a short paper or an abstract and organizing sessions. There is the opportunity to be a sponsor or exhibitor of the conference.
