============================================================
30th IFIP TC7 Conference on System Modeling and Optimization

              Warsaw, July 4-8, 2022

                     CALL FOR PAPERS

============================================================

The scope of TC7 consists in computational aspects of optimization problems arising in such areas as Aerospace, Biomedicine, Economics, Meteorology, and Public Services (Health, Environment, Police, Fire, Transportation, etc.). Some specific examples are:

    * on-line and off-line computational techniques in modeling and control of dynamic systems;
    * trajectory analysis and computation;
    * optimization of decentralised systems (macro-economic systems) and systems with multicriteria;
    * optimization of resource allocation in urban systems;
    * optimization of pollution-control systems;
    * optimization of man-machine systems;
    * optimization of power systems operation;
    * risk management in particular in mathematical finance and insurance;
    * development of machine learning techniques;
    * optimization and control under uncertainty.

The scope of the conference covers the current problems of mathematical modeling of complex systems and their optimization, in particular, on the one hand, the presentation of new mathematical and algorithmic methods and their implementation, and at the same time the presentation of applications regarding critical problems of today's world, including:
    - pandemic and other extreme global health threats, as well as solutions enabling their reduction and counteracting their effects;
    - climatic and environmental threats, both local and global;
    - systemic transformation of energy, transport and, more broadly, the transition to Industry 4.0;
    - digital transformation in the context of the development of systems under the Internet of Things model;
    - challenges of sustainable development that relate to the implementation of the UN Agenda in its full agenda, from the local level to the global issues.

Conference presentations will describe particularly important achievements and share good practices.
Due to the significant importance of the undertaken problems, both economic and social, the conference will allow not only to initiate the exchange of experiences, but also to launch joint research activities.

Important deadlines:
Submission of minisymposia proposals:     April 20th, 2022
Submission of contributed talks/posters:  May 31th, 2022

Submissions to the proceedings should follow not later than Semptember 30th, 2022. Contributions to the proceedings will be subject to acceptance based on peer review procedure.
