My name is Fernando Sedano and I am a Scientific officer at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra (Italy).

We propose a challenging and rewarding research 3-year position to carry out scientific tasks in accordance with the Exploratory Research Project INTelligence for AGRIculture Supply Chain (INT4AGRI). The focus will be on developing a supply chain model that integrates Earth Observation data on agricultural production and information on infrastructures and storage facilities in the context of the current Ukraine crisis. Model simulations under various scenarios will help to identify vulnerabilities and risks in the agriculture supply chain under different scenarios. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of JRC researchers working in the intersection of agricultural modeling and remote sensing along with high-level international collaborations.
