[APDIO] Call for abstracts - 1st Iberian Conference on Multi-Criteria Decision Making/Analysis (IMCDM/MCDA 2025)

ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The 1st Iberian Conference on Multi-Criteria Decision Making/Analysis (IMCDM/MCDA 2025), will take place in Coimbra, Portugal, from May 8 to 9, 2025.

  The conference will be jointly organized by the Associação Portuguesa de Investigação Operacional (APDIO), the Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores (INESC) de Coimbra, the Sociedad Española de Estadística e Investigación Operativa (SEIO) and the Grupo Español de Decisión Multicriterio (Spanish Network on MCDM).

The official languages of the conference will be Portuguese, Spanish and English.

 Important dates:

• Deadline for submission of oral and presentations and posters - February 28, 2025

• Notification of acceptance - March 14, 2025

• Registration (early bird fee and to guarantee the inclusion in the scientific program) - March 31, 2025

• Registration (late) - April 21, 2025

 

Submissions: Please send an email to imcdm2025@inescc.pt with the subject “Oral submission IMCDM2025” or “Poster submission IMCDM2025”, according to the submission type, using the template for the abstract submission at http://multicriterio.es/IMCDM-MCDA25.html

 Upon acceptance, the poster should be brought printed in size A1 for display.

 Travel and accommodation: Coimbra is located in central Portugal, 120 km south of Porto, 195 km north of Lisbon. One of Portugal’s biggest crossroads, Coimbra is served by the A1, the main highway of Portugal, and by the Alfa Pendular and Intercidades train services. There are good train connections to Coimbra from Lisbon and Porto airports. Rail travel from both Lisbon and Porto is regular, fast and reliable provided you take the Alfa Pendular or Intercidades services. Train connections between Lisbon and Porto are equally good (Coimbra is one of the stops of the Lisbon to Porto line). There are plenty of hotels at walking distance from the conference venue

 The conference will be held at the Student Hub building of the University of Coimbra (Rua Larga, 3000 Coimbra, Portugal).
