As you know, on January 27th, 2025, EURO will celebrate its 50th anniversary!
Indeed, we have much to celebrate, and most importantly, we have wonderful people to celebrate with. We are grateful for your presence, your involvement in working groups, numerous initiatives, and many years of collaboration.
We want to use January 27th as the beginning of our year-long celebrations, and it will also mark the first global Operational Research Awareness Day. Prof. Anita Schöbel will officially announce the start of this celebration during the online seminar organized by EURO OSS on Operational Research and Machine Learning, which will take place on January 27th.

On this special day for us, we kindly ask you to express your warm wishes towards EURO and congratulate us on your social media.
I have prepared a card for this occasion, which I am sending as an attachment. At the bottom of the card, under the "Celebrating with you" text, there is space where you can add a signature or the logo of your member society/EWG/University/research institution/publishers we collaborate with, etc.
Of course, you can congratulate us in other ways, using your own graphics or words – the prepared card is meant to make this easier for you :), and at the same time, the same card with different logos (and perhaps your own added message) appearing in various places on social media can help draw attention to our association – we would like to be noticed on this day. Being noticed is beneficial not only for us but also for you.
