Nos complace anunciar la conferencia internacional "City & Micro‑Region in the Ancient Mediterranean (and Beyond)", que se celebrará del 21 al 23 de mayo de 2025 en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional de Madrid.

La conferencia dará comienzo con un acto público inaugural el miércoles 21 de mayo a las 18:00 horas, en el propio Museo. Tras una breve bienvenida e introducción al tema de la conferencia, el Prof. Dr. Andrew Wallace-Hadrill (Universidad de Cambridge) ofrecerá una conferencia titulada: “Max Weber’s City and the Missing Microregion: The Case of Pompeii”.

Al finalizar, tendremos el placer de invitarle a un cóctel de bienvenida en el mismo museo.

We are pleased to draw your attention to the international conference 'City & Micro-Region in the Ancient Mediterranean (and Beyond),' which will take place from May 21 to 23, 2025, at the Museo Arqueológico Nacional in Madrid.

The conference will kick off with a public event on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Museo Arqueológico Nacional. After a brief welcome and introduction to the theme of the conference, Prof. Dr. Andrew Wallace-Hadrill (University of Cambridge) will give a lecture titled: 'Max Weber’s City and the Missing Microregion: The Case of Pompeii.'
