[Archport] La Caixa PhD scholarships

The INPhINIT "la Caixa" Ph.D. program is designed to attract talented young researchers of all nationalities who wish to pursue a Ph.D. in the Spanish or Portuguese territories. Funded by "la Caixa" Obra Social, it aims to support the best scientific talent and boost innovative and high quality research in Spain and Portugal by recruiting excellent international students and offering them an attractive and competitive environment to carry out excellence research.

The program is divided into two competitions with different settings (more info here):

· Incoming: 35 PhD fellowships for researchers in the disciplines of Health and Life Sciences, Experimental Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.  Candidates for these grants must have resided in Portugal for less than 12 months in the last 3 years. Deadline: February 4th 2020

· Retaining: 30 doctoral fellowships open to competition for researchers who wish to carry out their doctoral project in any scientific area. Candidates for these grants must have resided or carried out their main activity in Portugal for more than 12 months in the last 3 years. Deadline: February 26th 2020
