We reproduce the announcement made by the organizing committee of the 8th International Anthracology Meeting.

New date

Rescheduling of the conference

 

The organizing committee of the 8^th International Anthracology Meeting - anthraco2021 - is sad to announce that due to the ongoing pandemic, the conference cannot be held next September 2021.

After careful deliberation, the organizing and scientific committees have decided that, considering the uncertainty regarding the normalization of the situation worldwide, the meeting will take place in the year 2023. New dates for what will be the Anthraco2023 are going to be announced soon through the meeting’s new website at https://anthraco2023.weebly.com/. The webmail envarch@cibio.up.pt remains in use.

Concerns regarding the long time between the Liverpool and Porto meetings led several members of the scientific committee to suggest smaller events should be organized to promote the cohesion of our charcoal community. Information on this matter will soon be available.
