FEBRUARY 2021
Welcome to the February Archaeopress Alert - and we're following a bumper January with an equally full set of new listings this month including the eagerly awaited proceedings of the conference held during the British Museum's celebrated Scythian's exhibit of 2017, Masters of the Steppe: the impact of the Scythians. Edited by Svetlana Pankova and St John Simpson, we were delighted to receive a review by no-less-than Sir Barry Cunliffe where he describes the volume as 'a major achievement—it provides high-quality research within a context that is readily accessible. It is the kind of academic output one would like to see following other major exhibitions.'

As well as new and forthcoming titles, we are very pleased this month to invite you to the first in our free-to-attend lecture series, An Evening with Archaeopresstaking place via Zoom; Caroline K. Mackenzie will be discussing culture and society at Lullingstone Roman Villa, Kent. Full details can be found further down this email. You can register to attend here.
