Dear all,

 

We are delighted to announce that we are now inviting paper submissions for the Prehistoric Society Europa conference in 2023 (poster attached). The conference will be held at the University of Cambridge from 2-4th June. 

 

This year, we are celebrating the work of Professor Marie Louise Stig Sørensen whose work explores the Bronze Age in Scandinavia, Central Europe and England, as well as gender studies in prehistory and cultural heritage preservation.

 

We are inviting paper submissions for conference presentations on 2nd June, which will be for early career researchers in particular. A second day of presentations will follow on 3rd June, with confirmed speakers including: John Robb; Philip Stockhammer; Katharina Rebay-Salisbury; Helle Vandkilde; Harry Fokkens; Joanna Sofaer; Magdolna Vicze. The conference will conclude on 4th June with a half-day field trip.

 

Those interested in presenting a paper at the conference on Friday 2nd June should send a 150 word abstract to Jess Bates (jessica.bates@york.ac.uk) by Sunday 25th September 2022.
