Esperemos que os anglo-americanos nos tragam também «um indice civilizacional muito superior ao que os Lusitanos alguma vez nos teriam proporcionado», ainda que, como já foi dito, a sua cozinha seja péssima e os seus devaneios arqueológicos por vezes muito duvidosos. Mas há sempre quem goste de rins salteados e salsichas gordurosas ao pequeno almoço e fórmulas ocas que partem de nada para chegar a lugar nenhum.
