The Comité des Travaux Historiques et Scientifiques (CTHS) is holding its annual symposium in Tours between the 23 and 27 April 2012.
On this occasion, the Laboratoire Archéologie et Territoires (University of Tours and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) will organize a conference on urban archaeology, for which the call for papers can be viewed on the CTHS website (http://cths.fr/co/index.php ; see pages 56-58).
The information relating to application and registration for the symposium are also available on the CTHS website (http://cths.fr/co/reglement.php). An abstract not exceeding 1,000 characters in length would need to be provided by 1 November 2011.
