Dear Raquel and João,
I would like to thank you both for organising two very constructive and informative meetings last week with various Portuguese project partners, as well as Carlos Pedro, Artur and Rui for meeting with us in Aljustrel, Mertola and São Domingos. Our colleagues from the Copper Coast Geopark were delighted to meet you all, and were very impressed with all that they saw and experienced over the course of our visit.
Sophie and I will be meeting with our new French partners in France between Feb. 18 – 22, and as with all of these project development meetings, representatives from any partner group are welcome to join us.
I plan also to meet again with the Irish representative to the INTERREG IVB Atlantic Area programme before then, to discuss how our project has evolved, to seek his assistance/guidance with developing it further and also to seek any information he might have concerning the INTERREG programme, such as the announcement of the 2nd call for proposals [still listed as by end of Q1 on the website].
I will keep you informed of developments on all of that. I will also start to assemble a schedule of actions as well as outline budgets for the Irish partners, as this might help all of you to start thinking in more detail about your own intended actions, time schedules and budgets. I hope to circulate that to you next week.
In the meantime, could you let me have as soon as possible please:
Thanks and best wishes to you all,
John
