We are pleased to announce a one-day workshop on efficiency and productivity analysis that will take place at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto, on the 5th October 2015. The workshop will have a plenary session with two speakers: Professor Laurens Cherchye (University of Leuven) and Professor José Fernando Oliveira (Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto) on methodological aspects of university and faculty evaluation.

Academics and practitioners are invited to present papers on the field of productivity and efficiency analysis applied to the higher education sector. Theoretical contributions or applications to other areas are also welcome. 

 

 

Abstract Submission - Deadline 30 June 2015

For those wishing to present a paper at this workshop please send an abstract to Maria Conceição Portela (csilva@porto.ucp.pt). The abstract should not exceed 300 words and should include: title, authors, affiliation, and email address. The speaker shall be marked with an asterisk. Abstracts must be written in English. Information of acceptance will be given during the second week of July.

 

 

Registration and Fees - Deadline 01 September 2015

Those wishing to attend the conference shall register and pay a fee (to cover lunch, coffee breaks and documentation). The value of the fee is 75 Euros. If delegates also wish to attend the workshop dinner, the total fee is 100 Euros.
