The Annals of Operations Research seeks submissions for a special issue on "Operations Research and Systems: XVIII Latin-Iberian-American Conference on Operations Research, CLAIO 2016." We invite all participants of CLAIO 2016 to submit the extended full version of their presented contributions to this special issue. Papers not presented at the conference but that contribute to a better understanding of the significant impact analytic OR models and methodologies have had in Latin-Iberoamerica are also welcome, thus this is open to the OR community worldwide.
The deadline for submission is March 1st, 2017. Instructions for authors can be found at:

All manuscripts must be written in English and prepared in accordance with the journal's instructions for authors available at the journal web site (see below). Authors should submit a cover letter and a manuscript by March 1st, 2017, via the Journal’s online submission site at:
http://www.editorialmanager.com/anor/default.aspx . Within the Editorial Manager, please choose "S.I.: CLAIO 2016" as the article type.
Papers will be subject to a strict review process managed by the Guest Editors and accepted papers will be published online individually, before print publication.
