Dear Colleagues,

We will have several PhD scholarships available in 2018 associated with our ARC grant “Revisiting the interconnections between approximation theory, optimisation and semi-infinite programming for solving complex Chebyshev approximation problems,” investigators Julien Ugon, Nadia Sukhorukova, Vera Roshchina, Jean-Pierre Crouzeix, Marco López and Nira Dyn.

 

We target shortlisting by mid-December, and therefore we strongly encourage the candidates to contact us as soon as possible. For questions and expressions of interest please contact us via one of the following e-mails: j.ugon@federation.edu.au, nsukhorukova@swin.edu.au, vera.roshchina@rmit.edu.au. The applicants should attach their CVs and include the words “PhD scholarship application” in the subject. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide the names of at least two referees.
