Dear colleague,

We would like to invite you to submit papers for the Special Session "SS4 – Optimization in Industry 5.0" at ICIE’2025, which will take place in Prague. This session will explore optimization techniques and their applications in addressing challenges associated with Industry 5.0, particularly in the fields of Industrial Engineering, Management, and Robotics.

We welcome papers on topics such as supply chain optimization, production planning, human-robot collaboration, resource allocation, and decision-making under uncertainty. The aim is to present innovative approaches that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance. Cutting-edge methods and real case studies demonstrating the potential of optimization within today’s competitive industrial landscape will be highly valued.

Accepted papers will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering series, indexed in SCOPUS.
