Dear colleagues and friends, A few weeks ago the new Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme opened. It offers talented scientists the unique chance to set up two-year and three-year research and training projects with the support of a supervisor. I would like to inform you of my willingness to supervise postdocs in the fields of epigraphy, the history of written communication, Roman history, the history of classical scholarship and the decolonization process of the Classics, as well as on other selected topics related to cultural heritage, digital humanities, the history of Venice, the history of Cyprus, and the production/circulation of forgeries. Candidates should have a doctoral degree by the time of the deadline for applications (13 September 2023). They must have a maximum of eight years’ experience in research from the date of the award of their doctoral degree and must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline. In a few days, Ca' Foscari will organize the hybrid event "How to write a successful proposal" on the next call MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship. The event will take place in presence and online from 9 to 12 CET on Friday, 12 May 2023, . The speakers will include a National Contact point for MSCA, a representative person from the European Commission for MSCA and some successful applicants.
