I'm sending this invitation as Director of the Tourism Department of ISCE – Instituto Superior de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo (www.isce.pt) and Editor-in-Chief of the Tourism and Hospitality International Journal (https://revistas.rcaap.pt/index.php/thij/index).
I am contacting you because we are planning to organize a 100% online international congress, on the theme of New Technologies in Tourism Education, to be held in April 2025, and we are looking for partner universities on the 5 continents that wish to join us as co-organizers of this event.
In this sense, we would like to invite your institution to join us in co-organizing this scientific event, which will be supported in the publication by the Tourism and Hospitality International Journal, but receptive to other possibilities.
If you're interested in accepting our invitation, I will be happy to invite you to a video meeting, to be scheduled at the beginning of June, to start preparing the event. I would like to point out the benefits and responsibilities of the partner entities that join us in the co-organization of this event:
PARTNER benefits:
a) You will be part of an international universities team from 5 continents;
b) You will participate in the organization of an international scientific event;
c) The Partner logo and link will be on the Event’s website;
d) International promotion of the University;
e) Privileged access to recent scientific information in the field of tourism and a network of professors specialized in the sector;
f) Fulfill any other advantage that has been combined in writing between the parties.
PARTNER responsibilities:
a) Each Partner is responsible for organizing a conference panel (defining the title and inviting the speakers. Speakers must be from at least 2 countries but not mandatory);
b) To promote the partnership team in all their means of electronic and physical promotion;
c) To share the Conference calls with Partner professors, students, scientific partners, and business partners and encourage them to join the conference;
e) Fulfill any other action that has been combined in writing between the parties.
Note: The entire logistical component of support and costs associated with the event is the responsibility of ISCE. There are no costs for the co-organizer’s entities.
