Journal of Roman Pottery Studies

ISSN: 0958-3491

Journal of Roman Pottery Studies, volume 16

The Journal of Roman Pottery Studies is published by Oxbow Books for the Study Group for Roman Pottery. It publishes papers on Roman pottery and related subjects. In addition to papers on material from Britain, the Journal includes studies from across the Roman empire.

Each paper submitted to the Journal is peer-reviewed by two referees (of course this process ensures that reviewers are fully independent of the authors, for example, not affiliated with the same institution). In addition, an Editorial Board supports the Editor to ensure that the Journal’s output is of the highest academic quality. Members of the Editorial Board are as follows:

Dr Barbara Borgers – University of Salzburg
Nicholas Cooper – University of Leicester Archaeological Service
Dr Jerry Evans – Barbican Research Associates
Dr Rien Polak – Radboud University Nijmegen
Louise Rayner – Archaeology South-East/UCL Institute of Archaeology
Dr Peter Webster – National Museum of Wales
Dr Sonja Willems – Université Catholique de Louvain and the Art and History Museum, Brussels                                                                                                                                  Dr Steve Willis – University of Kent

The Editor welcomes any potential contribution to the Journal. Click here for contact details.

Volumes 1 to 12 can be downloaded via the links below. Volumes 13 to 18 are available from Oxbow books, and the latest edition of the Journal, volume 19, is now out.
